All orders will be acknowledged and confirmed by email. Normal orders will be despatched seven days from order date as they are made fresh to order.  If you have a particular requirement please give at least two weeks notice. If the order has been started then a full refund cannot be given, 50% of the order price would be refunded.

We use only the finest human grade ingredients with not artificial flavourings, preservatives or colourings. Every cookie is freshly handmade to order, therefore, we post one week from the delivery order date.

Ingredients Information

Spelt flour

We mainly use spelt flour in our recipes.It is an ancient grain belonging to the wheat family but it is more 'pure' as it has not been overgrown like wheat. It also has a tough husk surrounding the spelt grain which means it is naturally protected against pollutants and insects. It also has more flavour and texture and it is high in vitamin B complex. It has both simple and complex carbohydrates and it has significantly more protein content than traditional wheat. There is a very small amount of gluten in spelt flour but the amount is so small that it is easily digestible and this makes it ideal for dogs who are gluten intolerant.

Coconut flour:

A non -grain based flour which is gluten free and a good source of lauric acid. It is also an exceptional source of manganese which helps  utilise many nutrients  including choline and biolin (found in eggs), vitamin C and thiamin. Manganese also support bone health, nervous system function, thyroid health and helps to maintain optimal  blood sugar levels.

Rice flour:

This flour is a product of unhulled kernals and is gluten free.

Peanut butter:

Our peanut butter is 100% natural made from pure peanuts and does not contain any added salt, sugar or palm oil. It is a good source of protein but also contains heart healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin and Vitamin E.

Natural yogurt:

Natural yogurt is high in calcium and protein. We use natural yogurt with active bacteria without any artificial sweeteners or added sugars. Natural yogurt can act as a probiotic and it is good for a dog's digestive system,

Honey:

Honey is good for dogs as it is rich in many nutrients such as glucose, fructose and sucrose, enzymes, minerals, magnesium, potassium, sodium chloride, iron, phosphate and sulphur, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and C, several hormones and proteins of various types including pollen grains themselves which can contain essential oils and other phyt0nutrients. Honey contains flavonoids, antioxidants that help reduce the risk of disease and is also an anit-inflammatory.

Rolled oats:

Rolled oats are healthy for dogs as they are digestible and high in protein. They are good if a dog has a sensitive stomach.

Sweet potato:

Sweet potato is rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients and are classified as an anti-diabetic food. They receive this title because animal studies have found that sweet potatoes help stabilise blood sugar levels and lower insulin resistance. They contain Vitamin A.

Cranberries:

Cranberries are full of nutrients, anti-oxidants and minerals. They contain Vitamins A, B1, B2 and C and as in humans they aid the health of the urinary tract.

Coconut oil/Coconut flakes

We use organic non-genetically modified coconut oil and flakes which are full of minerals, lauric acid and has great nutritional benefits to dogs. When given regularly coconut oil supports the health of the dog's coat and skin, a healthy immune system, it provides anti-oxidants protection to support healthy cells, it supports the gastrointestinal and digestive health of the dog as well as a healthy thyroid function.

Carob

Carob is a tasty and safe alternative to chocolate for dogs. It comes from the carob p;od and has a naturally sweet pleasant flavour, it is rich in vitamins A, B, B1, B2, B3, B6 and D, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese and protein. It is also rich in fibre and pectin which helps eliminate toxins from the body. It can improve digestion and lower cholesterol.

Bananas:

Bananas are full of amino acids, electrolytes, minerals, vitamins B6 and C, potassium, fibre and manganese.

Apples:

We make fresh apple sauce for use in our produce. Apples contain calcium, Vitamin K, Vitamin C and pectin.

Ginger:

Ginger is high in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. It has many health benefits such as anti-viral, anti-toxic and anti-fungal. It has the effect of reducing risk of heart disease. `it can help treat allergies as an anti-histamine. It can help improve blood circulation and lower cholesterol levels. However, if a dog has suffered from anaemia or just undergone surgery it is better to avoid ginger as it stimulates the circulation of the blood and dogs in these situations should maintain a stable blood level. Although ginger is healthy a dog should only be given a small quantity as in a cookie treat.
